Fire Curtains for Hotels & Hospitality
Hotels use deployable curtains twice: in the public spaces — atriums, ballrooms, elevator banks — to keep the open plan, and at the guest room door, where a curtain adds 2 hours of protection for guests who cannot evacuate.

Guest rooms
A smoke curtain installed inside the entrance doorway of a hotel room or condominium gives 2 hours of additional protection against smoke and fire. When guests are trapped in their room — particularly on upper floors — smoke seepage under the door is the true threat, especially for children and elders.
The curtain drops from the ceiling behind the entrance doorway, deployed manually or automatically through the fire alarm system, and minimizes smoke seeping under the door threshold. If escape is possible, deploying the curtain after departure substantially reduces damage to the room’s contents.
