PER NFPA 80, CHAPTER 22 & MANUFACTURER'S OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES

NFPA 80 requires opening protectives to be inspected and tested annually — a deployed-and-verified drop test, not a visual check. U.S. CARE® is our preventative maintenance program: scheduled inspections, drop testing, and documentation for your AHJ, performed by the people who built the system.

Why annual inspection is not optional

NFPA 80, Chapter 22, and the manufacturer's operating and maintenance guidelines require it, and your AHJ will ask for the documentation. A deployed-and-verified drop test with a written report is what satisfies both.
