Fire Curtains for Hospitals
Hospitals specify deployable smoke and fire curtains to form smoke compartments and cross-corridor separations without swinging doors blocking gurney traffic. The curtain stores in a ceiling-recessed headbox and deploys on fire alarm signal — the corridor stays fully clear the rest of the time.

Cross-corridor separations
Healthcare corridors have to do two jobs that conflict: stay wide open for gurneys, beds, and carts, and close into smoke compartments during a fire. Swinging cross-corridor doors solve the second at the cost of the first.
A deployable curtain solves both — nothing occupies the corridor until the alarm system commands deployment, and gravity fail-safe operation closes the opening even on total power failure.
